Dr Hoang My Gerard (Mimi) is Executive Director of Aliro Consulting Vietnam, a physician and senior healthcare leader with more than 25 years’ experience spanning clinical medicine, public health, healthcare operations, diagnostics and market access. 

Her career began in Viet Nam’s public health system, where she worked as a physician and Medical Director before taking on clinical and leadership roles with Médecins Sans Frontières, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, MSH and PATH. Her responsibilities evolved from frontline clinical care and medical programme management to health-system strengthening, pharmaceutical management and national programme leadership. 

Mimi subsequently moved into industry, spending almost seven years leading Abbott Molecular’s business operations across Viet Nam and Cambodia. This combined commercial leadership with market intelligence, stakeholder engagement and an in-depth understanding of regulatory, procurement and healthcare delivery systems. 

At Aliro, Mimi brings these clinical, operational and commercial perspectives together to help healthcare organisations see their reality clearly, make better decisions and translate strategy into execution. Her work focuses particularly on clinical and operational performance, organisational capability, market access and healthcare transformation.
